I don’t care how much money a movie makes. If the story isn’t good, and characters are bland, it’s sure to fail. And if you’re going to do a live-action adaptation of a previous movie, then you should pay close attention to the source material that came before it. And I’m not talking about the movie that came out just a few years ago, I’m talking about the story that inspired the movie to begin with. And that is why you fail, Disney.

Why is Disney so hellbent on destroying all of the good things they've ever done?

I know I'm a bit late to this video but here's my take if they would decide to retry the show. I think they should restart from Wizards. Instead of having the gang be thrown back in time, have Douxie tell the story of Camelot from his perspective. Then in a Wizards season two, show his growth as a wizard throughout the centuries. For Rise of the Titans, make it in episodic format instead of a higher budget movie. This would allow more story to be included and fleshed out. Yes the visuals were better, but writing should be prioritized over animation quality.

Disney really stole Nuka’s backstory in a sense 💀 I know a lot of Lion King fans remember how his name was Taka, but… his name means “trash.” An heir to the throne with name meaning “trash.” Him being the sibling of an heir while being called “trash” was bad enough. I thought “Askari” was the alleged name one of the people that worked on TLG wanted to use and honestly, it would have made way more sense than being called a piece of garbage. By making Scar and Mufasa not actually biological siblings, the whole story of The Lion King would be based on a lie. I wouldn’t be surprised if they turned out to BE long lost siblings and Mufasa’s parents turned out to be adoptive due to bs happening in the Pride Lands 💀

They obviously just wanna cash in on the franchise more, and had a genuinely solid plot concept to start with, but their main mistake here was using Mufasa and Scar. I would've loved a movie in that universe with a similiar plot. But they should've used anybody else. Like Kiara and Kovu's future cub/cubs, or even just introducing us to Mufasa's parents. But they instead used characters with already established lore that they felt like changing in order to create the narrative they preffered. Which is shitty writing at best, a disgrace to the franchise if I'm honest.

I guess that they're completely getting rid of the lion guard lore too then. Literally one of the main details of the show is that the first born child becomes heir, and the second becomes the leader of the gaurd, and Scar was a former leader of the lion gaurd. I get a lot of animated shows like that deviate from their source material, but come on guys.

I can already almost guarantee this is because of the Kiara x Kovu thing. Kovu is Scar's son in all but blood, which makes the two feel very related and makes it weird and incest coded. But is is NOT any better if they're just adopted brothers😭😭 its just screwing with the plot even more.

It's not live action, this is literally CG animation. They just use VR helmets to get shots from the CG scenes.

I can’t wait. I know a lot of people hated the remake but I loved it and can’t wait for this.

In the original script scar is only a random strong lion and Mufasa is the king with blood stuff idk why they change something like that

2:02 It's because apparently the Komi speak got lost in translation, since it was in the sub, which led to Erin Fitzgerald & Reba Buhr to think that she talks normally until Tom found out & that's why she started to talk like that in Season 4.

The beginning of this movie is absolutely beautiful and the ending to this movie is absolutely amazing. Everything else in the middle sucks. Still has a better soundtrack than Frozen or half of the other movies nowadays.

i hope chloe comes back in next arc, now that she isn't going to be spoiled rotten cause she will be living with her mom i want her to realize what she did was wrong, we kinda saw that in the season 5 finale, she realized that the people who actually cared about her distanced them selves from her she is alone with a mom who could care less about her, her mom cant even remember her own name.

I agree with the graphics on the ducks because they added stuff that I never would have thought to see in any movie with ducks especially from Illumination. I raise ducks and to see how graphic they made them look, makes them almost look real I like where Illumination is heading and hope they keep it up 👍🎉❤🦆

eagle could instantly end a fight if you free them of the right thing... like "I free you from your will to fight" if your a hero facing a villain or "I free you from your will to live" if your a villain... for the hero the villain would just give up and go home while for the villain well self explanatory

I think it's a great show with a lot of room for more things to happen to the characters, but I feel like all the character arcs have sort of reached their natural conclusion.

I really enjoyed this show. It was super funny and entertaining to watch. I agree with some of the other comments that it could have focused a bit more on Knuckles rather than Wade, but I actually really liked the absurd humor. I thought the musical episode was hilarious and such an inventive way to show Knuckles’ backstory to Wade and the audience. My only major complaint about it is that Wade’s sister was super annoying and acted like a six year old and wasn’t believable as an adult, certainly not one that works for the FBI. Even though all the other ridiculous stuff worked for me, her whole character just didn’t for some reason. But overall it was really fun and I’m glad I watched it! I will probably even watch it again sometime!

I think your looking at fabrication through to much of a critical lens. Its not supposed to correlate with canon. Thats not the point if fanfiction. The point is to explore possibilities. Draco and Hermione wouldn't work in canon. But its fun to read and write about a forbidden romance.

Good, well-executed shows don't have a ton of fanfiction, but bad shows with good concepts?? Heck yeah. Mlb has genuinely so many great fanworks that have made me stuck here even though the show sucks 😔

I love The Black Cauldron and The Great Mouse Detective. I will defend them both to the death. Their stories might not have been perfect, but their animation was considerably better for their times. They were both experimental films. They both had a brilliant cast, especially with the villains

Well, sometimes everything we seen is not always what we’ve seen. For nearly 9 years of Lila, she was one slippery weasel who was never a Lila Rossi person at all. Who knows what she’s been doing in the other school to backstab another student who probably saw through her lies but failed to expose her. Chloe has no experience in everything in her life because she has made Sabrina do everything like a servant for who knows how long without gaining g enough life experience. Don’t get me wrong but in my opinion, Lila probably did change Chloe to the worst brat she became by manipulating her a lot. I’ve seen how manipulation has happened in my high school life when cool kids get popular, the next they go for another to replace. On top of that, we all didn’t know she wore a wig the whole time as well as fake eye color contacts which obviously should’ve caused dry eyes the longer she wore it. Which explains why she skips gym class. Especially lying with having fake illnesses without a doctor’s note to prove it to the teachers. Not even her checking identification that doesn’t even exist in records, that would be like a crime punishment if she gave out her fake identity. I hope in season six, Ladybug figures out who is the new holder because only one person would have a deep hatred for her. Especially her civilian too. Even who was an ally to Gabriel and Monarch in his companies too. Especially when Gabriel fired Lila which leads to revenge.

This was such a great film. Sad that it bombed.

I love this movie, but honestly I hope they leave it alone. I think sometimes less is better, since big corporations cant seem to treat their franchises with any respect. I wish it had better income but I'm happy enough with what we got. Plus, I don't want to see them ruin it somehow lmao.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are making Mufasa and Scar not blood related so that Kovu can be Scars actual blood son in another remake because the 2nd movie had to make Kovu adopted to aviod incest between him and Kiara.

Another thing worth noting is in the original 1994 Lion King, when Mufasa is confronting Scar about his absence from Simba's presentation, Scar says, "When it comes to brains, I've got the lion's share, but when it comes to brute strength... I'm afraid I'm at the shallow end of the gene pool." This line confused fans for many years regarding the legitimacy of Mufasa and Scar's brotherhood, and in the 2019 remake, the writers seemingly clarified the confusion by rewriting Scar's dialogue, with him saying "When it comes to brute strength... I'm afraid my big brother will always rule," more-or-less confirming that Scar and Mufasa are, indeed, biological brothers. What I ask now, is why the Hell did the creators decide they're unrelated in this prequel when it's been pretty firmly established IN-UNIVERSE that your two most important characters are, in fact, related? Make👏 it👏make 👏sense.👏
